Penna are looking for an innovative and resourceful HR manager/adviser to support the leadership team deliver on a range of HR, people and engagement projects including business briefings, conferences, training and development events, engagement activities and people and HR related communications projects.

You will be responsible for ensuring all people, engagement and HR duties are consistently delivered to a high standard and in the culture and style of the business. To deliver this you will regularly liaise and work with our shared service HR centre and our expert team in Adecco HR who support on Employee Relations, Learning and Development and Reward.

You will be involved in projects associated with all key people and engagement programmes including supporting managers with hiring, development, performance, engagement and motivation of their people. You will be an ambassador of our values and culture and bring ideas as well as much needed support to the leadership team in ensuring we are a great place to work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to establish themselves in a broad range HR role. Experience in managing people/HR related role is essential, although if you have studied HR or as a manager gained good insight into people related subjects or worked in a highly people oriented environment, where how you do things as well as what you do matter that could be as relevant . You will however need good administrative, organisation, IT and communication skills. You’ll love being busy and thrive on diversity of work and workforce as you’ll be a team of one in HR in the business – and be expected to cover a wide range of emerging people related issues.

Previous Experience

·       Recruitment experience is an advantage – as would be an understanding of recruitment processes from taking initial briefs to placement and candidate management.

·       Customer engagement/service skills would be helpful.

·       CIPD membership would be desirable.
