A vacancy has arisen within our team for a Resourcer for Penna, working across the Sourcing and Executive Search and Interim teams. 

Reporting to the Sourcing Delivery Manager the role will be supporting senior consultants in identifying, assessing and placing the best candidates across a variety of different markets. The individual will ensure that we are in touch and connected with the best candidates in order to meet the needs of the client. 


Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

Responsible for resourcing selected permanent and interim assignments

Support brief taking from clients, where required.

Place and manage advertisements on job boards and social media

Source candidates using own networks and knowledge of Penna’s candidate network, CV databases and online job boards (Monster, Total Jobs, Reed etc).

Utilise LinkedIn to source and target suitable candidates, including referrals.

CV screening and benchmarking of candidates against specific given criteria.

Undertake sifts and finalising short lists in consultation with Consultants.

Email shortlists to clients including candidate synopsis and information on salary expectations, location, availability etc.

Communicate with candidates at all stages of the recruitment process in a professional, tactful, confidential and efficient manner.

Candidate relationship/business development

Support the development of targeted relationships as requested by consultants and create positive professional relationships with clients and candidates

Where possible, generate new business leads for consultants via the candidate network and repeat work through effective delivery.

Review professional publications weekly and share business leads and intelligence with relevant consultants.

Responsible for the management and development of Penna’s candidate networks

Act as first line of contact for new candidates – conducting initial telephone interviews and making recommendations to consultants around which new candidates to meet for full interview, who to reject and who to register on system.

Conduct candidate interviews and provide support to interviews with Consultants.

Use candidate/client management systems, such as File Finder, to maintain up-to-date candidate records – availability, CVs, contact details, conversations, referee details etc.

Organise reference taking for Consultants and or take references as required.

Develop an excellent knowledge of candidate network including specialisms, skills, home location, day rates, availability etc.

Develop an excellent external profile with Penna’s candidate and client communities.

Responsible for supporting administration and organisation of regular candidate networking events.

Be mindful of good recruitment practices and relevant legislation at all times including diversity and equal opportunity.

Previous Experience

Recruitment experience is an advantage – as would be understanding of recruitment processes from taking initial briefs to placement and candidate management.
