Purpose of the role:
The Sales Lead is responsible for identifying, developing and closing business predominantly for the Sourcing service at Penna. The role will be focused on new business development primarily in the public sector. The individual will be targeting the UK wide market, with a clear remit to develop new relationships and enhance Penna’s footprint. The role requires a real self-starter with a drive and passion to support organizations around their recruitment and people issues. In addition all Penna sales leads need to be able to introduce a wide range of solutions and services to our clients and prospects.
To grow profitable revenue through selling and marketing of our Sourcing service to current Penna clients and new clients expanding Penna’s billing’s all sectors, predominantly the public sector. You will also contribute to selling integrated solutions bringing together all of Penna’s services as appropriate to help our clients find, excite and secure talent.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Develop and implement individual business development strategy to achieve revenue targets
To proactively target new accounts and contact via telephone, meeting and marketing activities
Manage client lists, identifying and targeting appropriate businesses based on geography and market conditions and previous successes
Achieve call and meeting targets as defined by individuals KPI’s
Achieve high meeting activity levels, developing relationships with high level Board contacts and HR management teams.
To be accountable for knowledge and understanding of client directions, issues, imperatives, strategies, and organisation.
To agree and deliver own personal targets for revenue generation and direct contribution (informed by sector strategy and targets)

Excellent track record of new business sales in a professional services, recruitmentor consultative selling solutions business
Experience of direct selling through high volume call and meeting activities
