As a global FMCG brand, McDonald’s is always looking to adopt new ways of working
and to bring on the latest innovations. Penna was retained to provide an exceptional Interim Manager with extensive experience in implementing digital recruitment functions. There were two challenges with the brief: firstly, the customer wanted to hire within
a week and, secondly, the role profile was highly specific and not a direct fit
with more traditional roles of this type. The Penna team therefore needed to deliver a genuinely tailored approach.
We used a combination of direct sourcing from Penna’s diverse, market-leading interim networks
and blind advertising. Given the commercial and operational significance of the digital recruitment project for McDonald’s our candidate screening was key to ensuring we focused on those with the right attributes and cultural fit for MacDonald’s.
We were able to target, screen and brief the right candidate within the deadline set ( one week). The successful candidate was appointed on a six month contract to deliver the integrated digital recruitment project for McDonald’s. The successful structures and operations he put in place led to his contract being extended for a further six months and a very happy customer.
