Qmatic - Head of Product
Q-Matic are a Swedish technology business offering Customer Experience Management solutions to Retailers, Banks and the Public Sector that massively enhances customer experience via improved Customer Flow and Supply Chain Management. Their head office is in Gothenburg Sweden.
The Global Human Director contacted the Penna team , having tried and failed to find a new Head of Product for their Systems Software Team based at their Gothenburg office, Sweden. As Q-Matic was in the process of making some major changes to its product suite and the previous Head of Product had left the business, they were finding it increasingly difficult to deliver to their clients.
The HRD had been using a local head-hunter in Sweden for the previous 5 months, she had seen a total of 15 candidates and conducted 22 interviews but had not been able to select anyone to offer. After analysing the work that had been conducted to date, Penna were confident that they could source new candidates that were a better fit for Q-Matic’s needs. After considerable research, telephone based screening and face to face interviews in Gothenburg, Penna presented 4 candidates to Q-Matic for interview. After Q-Matic’s 1st round of interviews, three of these candidates were progressed to second interview with two final candidates deemed “fit to offer”.
An offer was extended to the preferred candidate and he readily accepted. This was all achieved within 1.5 months of the HRD’s 1st telephone conversation with Penna.
Since this successful engagement Penna has developed the relationship and placed a total of 25 people with Qmatic, this has included Managing Director, Regional Director and SVP placements in Atlanta, Dubai, Hong Kong, Moscow, Madrid, Stockholm, Milton Keynes, Paris and Amsterdam – among other locations.
