Role Purpose

  • This is an opportunity to join PENNA as Senior Data Analyst. You will be working within our Performance Media team and key managers and teams across the business.
  • The main purpose of this role is ensuring the successful execution and performance of our paid media activities. You will be responsible for setting up Tableau dashboards whilst developing our Measurement and Insights offering service. In addition, you will be working with other Analysts to QA & implement tags, click trackers and floodlights using GTM and GA4 across various digital platforms.

What you’ll do

  • Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that visualise complex data sets in an understandable and insightful manner.
  • Data Integration: Work with our data engineers and analysts to gather, clean, and prepare data for visualisation, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with our Performance Media and Client Delivery Managers to understand and gather data needed for reporting and translating these requirements into Tableau solutions.
  • Performance Optimisation: Monitor and optimise Tableau dashboards for performance, ensuring quick load times and responsiveness.
  • Monitoring campaign performance: Make data-driven recommendations for optimisations to improve click-through rates, conversion rates, and overall ROI.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation of Tableau solutions, including data sources, calculations, and dashboard designs.
  • Ad Trafficking: Implement and manage digital ad campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring accurate placement, tracking, and reporting.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to ad serving, tracking, and creative assets.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure that ad creatives are displayed correctly and adhere to industry standards.
  • Ad Technology: Stay up to date with the latest ad technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and improve campaign effectiveness.

  • Proven experience in ad operations and proficient with ad tracking and analytics tools (GTM, GA4).
  • Ability to work and remain calm under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Being approachable to the business
  • Proven experience as a Tableau Specialist with proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
  • Strong data visualisation skills with a keen eye for design and user experience.
  • Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
