Screener 6 months FTC

Role Purpose:                                                                              

The Screener  is responsible for sifting candidate applications on behalf of our clients, using specific criteria to establish a candidates’ eligibility for our clients’ vacancies.

This role is part of the wider delivery team, supporting the Associate & Resource Manager (ARM), Team Leaders (TLs), Campaign Co-ordinators (CCs) and Campaign Administrators (CAs) to ensure that all processes and procedures, including SLAs are adhered to.



Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities


Application Screening

  • You will undertake screening of online applications and progress candidates accordingly
  • Ensure that all eligibility criteria are accurately measured and all notes are logged on our Application Tracking System
  • Ensure that SLAs are adhered to
  • There will be additional scope to support other forms of selection and assessment activity such as responding to emails and recruitment line enquiries.

Ad hoc team support

  • Supporting the delivery  team with any of the following activities, as and when required
  • Printing of materials
  • Support with any candidate queries
  • Processing of candidate applications at various stages of the recruitment process

Personal Attributes, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Proven recruitment industry knowledge
  • Experience of delivering a similar service to clients
  • Demonstrable high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Resourceful, flexible and adaptable to workloads and client needs
  • Ability to act on own initiative and solve problems
  • Must be able to work in a calm and professional manner under pressure
  • Excellent organisation skills and conscientious
  • Ability to learn new IT packages and databases
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience sifting application forms is desirable
