We are now seeking an exceptional Director of Modernisation & Delivery to lead a wide-ranging programme of transformation and organisational development. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive and working as a key member of our Leadership Team, you will:

  • Drive innovative service redesign to ensure we are modern, efficient, and customer focused.
  • Lead our organisational development agenda, supporting and empowering a highly committed workforce.
  • Oversee major change programmes, ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and delivers tangible benefits for our residents.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and openness across the Council.
  • Build strong internal and external partnerships that help us maximise the borough’s talent and assets.
  • This is a pivotal leadership role that will help shape how Redbridge transforms its services today and, in the years, to come.

About you

You will possess an ability to lead and deliver a programme of transformational and cultural change and drive and oversee our operational delivery at pace with:

·        Personal credibility to inspire colleagues, members, partners and the community.

·        Be an innovative, values-driven leader with a proven track record in delivering organisational, transformation and cultural change and programme management.

·        An understanding of local government gained in delivering or supporting public services and/or change

·        A collaborative, inclusive leadership style and commitment to customer service and equality.

·        Strong financial and performance management skills, with a focus on value and impact.
