The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a critical public service that supports thousands of members and pensioners. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term success of the pension service while delivering positive outcomes for scheme members, employers, and stakeholders.
We are seeking a pensions professional to lead the strategic and operational delivery of our Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) administration service at Nottinghamshire.
As Head of Pensions, you will provide strategic leadership for all pension administration, encompassing investments, governance, compliance, and service improvement activities, ensuring the Fund meets its statutory responsibilities while delivering an outstanding service to members, employers, and stakeholders.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead a professional team and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the pension service, driving innovation, performance, and continuous improvement.
