Penna is delighted to announce its recent appointment as an approved supplier of executive recruitment services on the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) executive recruitment framework, RM number: RM6290. Penna was appointed onto all three Lots including both Executive and Non-Executive Board Appointments.
Roger Russell, Director & Practice Lead in Executive Search & Board Appointments for Central Government, commented: “This framework will enable Penna to bring its considerable range of services and expertise to benefit central government departments and their agencies including deep experience of bringing commercial and specialist leadership capability from other sectors and its leading-edge work in supporting greater diversity to executive teams and Boards.
Penna’s Managing Director, Julie Towers, also echoed this, saying:
“Penna has a proud track record of supporting senior executive recruitment across the public and commercial sectors and has been a pioneer in designing bespoke and innovative recruitment campaigns to increase diversity and develop leadership potential.
We already provide specialist recruitment for government agencies and the devolved administrations and this accreditation strengthens Penna’s position as a champion of the Public Sector extending its reach and experience of executive and non-executive recruitment into mainstream Central Government.”
This accreditation adds to the extensive list of frameworks that we are members of, including ESPO, YPO, GRP and our multi-year agreement with the Welsh Parliament – Senedd CYMRU. We are proud to be operating in so many different markets and are eager to begin working within the CCS framework to support the Central Government with their recruitment and people management requirements.
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
